Today, I work in our church cafe for the first time. I’m pretty excited about it. It’s not quite as exciting as maybe a day of atv riding but I’ll take it. That’s what you settle for when you have a family, hehe. Sometimes I’m jealous of my friends who get to go camping on the weekends.. go out to the lake, maybe even drive a ways out of town to do so. I have a two year old, so a lot of that stuff is just not realistic. I can’t wait until he’s older and we can do fun stuff together. In the meantime, for fun, I volunteer at church. Every other weekend I work in the childcare, and I’ve wanted something to do on the alternating weekends that I DON’T work with the kids. Finally, after exchanging a billion e-mails with the girl that sets all this up, who also happens to be a friend of the family, I am on the schedule! I work alternating weekends in the cafe from 9:45-1:15. Matthew will be in the child care during this time. I’m pretty thrilled!

I really want to do more things to help mine and hubby’s relationship. I know I need to learn to be more comfortable with myself.. maybe one day I’ll be able to wear plus size lingerie without the low self confidence that often plagues me.

I’ve thought about going and getting my nails and stuff done.. maybe get my eyebrows professionally done. I just need some things to boost my self esteem! Once I lose enough weight I will be able to go get a new wardrobe and I know that will REALLY help.

When it comes to choices for computers, I am a desktop fan. I’ve had my share of laptops, and Jeremiah even has a netbook, but I still always go back to using my desktop. We both had laptops for a while, and I ended up trading up for a desktop. Jeremiah kept talking about netbooks and ended up purchasing one right before we moved to Texas. He really likes it and is apparently still in love with it months later. I can only stand being on a laptop for a limited amount of time, so I can’t imagine trying to use a netbook on a regular basis!
