I love, love, love to travel so when I first found the Travel Channel I was so pumped to learn about all new places I have never been. I think it is funny that there are so many beautiful places and things to be seen across our country and around the world and so many people never get out and explore them. I recently watched a documentary about New Zealand and have fallen head over heels in love with the place. It was basically love at first site if you want to know the truth. I recently got hooked up with internet from these guys http://www.expertsatellite.com/ and I have been immersing myself in other cultures through Travel Channel ever since. New Zealand has basically everything you could ever want in a Trip Of A Lifetime destination. It has gorgeous scenery, mountains for hiking, glaciers for flying over in a helicopter, beaches for sun bathing, fantastic food and restaurants, skiing and snowboarding. It even has the second highest bungee jump in the world for those of you thrill seekers out there.

I am pregnant!
Currently almost 14 weeks. Baby is strong and healthy! I need to post a picture but I have to scratch out my information first.
But yeah.. unexpected surprise, but we’re getting used to the idea and we’re happy! Yay!

What did you get for Christmas? I got some of my favorite perfume that I’ve never been able to buy (Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue – It’s expensive!), a heated throw blanket, this subzero winter coat thing, two Paleo books & a Vera Bradley apron, and a few other items. Matthew got some GOOD stuff. I had previously searched all over the internet for things like sesame street gifts ideas online and I think I ended up with some good stuff. He got a few things from us that we got at Toys R Us on Black Friday, then he also got a basketball goal from Santa! My in laws got him a play kitchen which he LOVES, and of course he got some more cars and some other smaller things. In the end, the kid made out like a bandit. I don’t think he’ll be running out of things to do anytime soon!

About
My name is Jennifer. I'm 25 years young and living in North Texas with my husband and our awesome 4 year old son. I'm a military wife but not a typical one. I don't think I'm better than you. I don't think my kid is better than yours (Okay, maybe I do think that). I don't care what you say or do to me, but my friends and family are off limits. I'm very protective but that usually works in my favor. On the flip side, once you lose my trust, it's usually gone for good. Read more?
