About me
I'm a 23 year old girl. I'm married to a U.S. Marine and we have an amazing two year old boy. This is just one of two websites. For more personal and frequent blogs, check out Jennfur.com.

So we’ve been in our new house for almost two weeks. We just got internet and cable YESTERDAY. Yeah, I’ve been losing my mind. We’ve gotten a lot of stuff done though. I’m making the curtains for our house and I’m almost done. I have a few more panels to do in the living room, and then just our bedroom. A lot of the blinds are missing/broken so those windows were priority. The landlord says as soon as we pay rent for about two months, they will use the money to replace the blinds in the house.

Anyways, I’m going to take pictures soon. We have a housewarming tomorrow so I want to have it looking pretty by then! I have a lot more ideas for the house, but they’ll have to come a little at a time.

Now it’s just catching up on everything online! I’m getting to it a little at a time, between a crazy two year old and trying to get stuff done here. Thanks to anyone who’s had to be patient with me lately. I feel bad for being absent, but I didn’t have much control over it. Love y’all! :)

One of the things I did right on this move was get rid of a whole bunch of crap we no longer use. We had so much stuff.. from those little serving tables to exercise equipment that we NEVER USED. It was ridiculous. One of the things we got rid of, for example, was Jeremiah’s dip station. He liked it and it was a good purchase when we got it (used off craigslist), but now he’s got the iron gym pull-up bar and free weights as well as the perfect push-up, and he was NEVER USING the dip bar. We just went through everything and asked ourselves if we’d used it in 6 months or so, and if we’d really miss it. Because we did this, we eliminated SO MUCH clutter and crap. It’s a good thing we did, too, because we’ve found ourselves with a LOT less storage space in this house!

We’re finally settled into the new house. It’s really looking nicer every day. One funny thing I’ve noticed is the junk mail that ALREADY comes in our name. A couple of days ago, we got mail from AARP.. the senior life insurance people. Not only have we only lived here a week and a half, but we aren’t seniors, and don’t need life insurance. I can’t believe all the paper that is wasted on this kind of stuff. Then, there’s the phone calls we started getting the DAY AFTER hooking up our phone line. Do not call list, here we come!
