About me
I'm a 23 year old girl. I'm married to a U.S. Marine and we have an amazing two year old boy. This is just one of two websites. For more personal and frequent blogs, check out Jennfur.com.

When it comes to choices for computers, I am a desktop fan. I’ve had my share of laptops, and Jeremiah even has a netbook, but I still always go back to using my desktop. We both had laptops for a while, and I ended up trading up for a desktop. Jeremiah kept talking about netbooks and ended up purchasing one right before we moved to Texas. He really likes it and is apparently still in love with it months later. I can only stand being on a laptop for a limited amount of time, so I can’t imagine trying to use a netbook on a regular basis!

I definitely need to get on track with making more videos of Matthew. My mom bought me a mini camcorder before Matthew was born, and I had every intention of using it to record videos of him. Unfortunately it ended up being too complicated to tether it to my computer to get videos uploaded. Since then, I’ve been reading camcorder reviews on and off, trying to decide if one day I’m going to end up with a new one.

We have a couple of cameras, including two point and shoot cameras and a Canon DSLR, and we also still have the camcorder (It’s a Mini DV, btw), but I’d like one of those flip camcorders or something more portable and easy to use. I guess I will just have to keep an eye out for good deals!

So yesterday I found out my sister in law and her husband are moving. I’m pretty heartbroken. I know it’s going to be good for them and their lives together, but I can’t help but feel a little bit of sadness towards them. I moved here away from my husband in February, primarily because they were two streets away. We moved into this specific house just because it was so close to them. Now.. they’re moving. He got offered a job in Maryland. They’ll be moving in September. I don’t even know what I’m going to do now. I feel like I keep losing people close to me, and by moving back home I could stop that cycle. Alas I cannot, and I am left heartbroken once again. *sigh*

The worst part is Matthew.. I know how much he loves his Aunt and Uncle. He’s not at an age where he can comprehend my explanation, so I’ll just have to avoid the subject as often as possible. He knows the neighborhood they live in, and anytime we go to my husband’s aunt’s house, I know he’ll be looking for her. Blah. :(
